Después de tanto tiempo sin un nuevo hack de este emulador de juegos de la placa MVS Neo-Geo (SNK), llega el sucesor de la versión NeoRAGEx 4.x, lanzada por un relativamente nuevo equipo, el SNK-NeoFighters Team.

Está versión hack del emulador (recordar que la última versión oficial fue la 0.6) trae muchísimos cambios.

Uno de los objetivos principales del equipo fue que en lo posible los Sets sean lo más semejante posible a los de MAME, aunque no es esto del todo posible ya que este emulador nunca fue capaz de emular los dumps originales de los juegos, con sus encriptaciones originales. Esto hace que haya que hackear (o para los entendidos, hacer un full decrypted set) los dumps para lograr hacerlos correr en cualquier NeoRAGEx.

Entre los cambios más notables, ya que son demasiados para listarlos todos, se puede apreciar:

* Soporte para dums MGD2 (antiguos de Neo-Geo), lo que evita que el emulador se salga al darle al botón "Import".

* Las firmas de HappyASR y FlycBoy, prácticamente presentes en todos los hacks, han sido removidas.

* Soporte para la versión 1.3 de la UNIVERSE BIOS (Unibios) de Razoola.

* Nuevo fondo.

* Varios fixes de Ps y S1s hechos por el equipo han sido incluídos
